1. Who we are
StockToBuild is operated by West Coast Web Solutions, 1846 W 169th St, Gardena, California 90247, United States ("StockToBuild," "we," "us," or "our"). Questions and privacy requests may be sent to sales@wcoastwebsolutions.com.
2. Information we collect
- Account information: name, business email address, role, password hash, login and security events, and account settings.
- QuickBooks information: when an administrator connects a QuickBooks Online company, StockToBuild receives OAuth credentials and the company data needed to provide assembly and inventory features. Depending on the features used, this can include company identifiers, products and services, inventory quantities, accounts, inventory adjustments, journal entries, reports, and related transaction details.
- StockToBuild activity: assemblies, component quantities, build instructions, build history, audit information, error details, and user actions within the service.
- Technical information: IP address, browser and device information, timestamps, request logs, and security diagnostics generated when the service is used.
- Launch-list information: an email address submitted on the public StockToBuild website.
3. How we use information
We use information to operate and secure StockToBuild; authenticate users; connect to QuickBooks Online; display inventory; record and reconcile authorized assembly builds; maintain history and audit records; troubleshoot errors; provide support; communicate service or launch updates; prevent misuse; and comply with legal obligations.
4. QuickBooks authorization and credentials
QuickBooks access is granted through Intuit's OAuth authorization process by an authorized QuickBooks administrator. StockToBuild uses that access only to provide requested features. OAuth tokens are encrypted before storage. StockToBuild passwords are stored as salted password hashes, not as readable passwords. You can revoke StockToBuild's QuickBooks access through Intuit or ask us to disconnect the integration.
5. How information is shared
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Information may be shared with:
- Intuit, when you authorize and use the QuickBooks Online integration;
- Cloudflare and other infrastructure or support providers that process information for us under appropriate obligations;
- professional advisers, authorities, or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and security, or respond to legal process; and
- a successor in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of all or part of the business, subject to applicable law.
6. Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain legitimate business and audit records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods vary by data type. QuickBooks credentials are removed or rendered unusable when the connection is revoked or deleted, subject to limited backup and legal-retention requirements. You may request deletion as described below.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including encrypted network connections, access controls, hashed passwords, encrypted OAuth credentials, and service logging. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
8. Your choices and rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information by emailing sales@wcoastwebsolutions.com. We may need to verify your identity and authority over the relevant account or company. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights and the right to appeal a denied request. You may disconnect QuickBooks through Intuit and may opt out of launch emails by replying to an email or contacting us.
9. Cookies and similar technologies
StockToBuild uses strictly necessary session cookies to keep signed-in users authenticated and protect account access. The public launch page does not use advertising cookies. If analytics or other optional technologies are introduced, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated.
10. Children's privacy
StockToBuild is a business service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as StockToBuild changes. The effective date above will be revised, and material changes may also be communicated through the service or by email when appropriate.
